Tasks

Architecture, development and maintenance of our Learning Management System (LMS) and internal web tools

Design and implementation of scalable backend services with Node.js & TypeScript (Express, NestJS)

Implementation of modern frontends with TypeScript (React, Next.js)

Database modeling / administration with relational and NoSQL systems as well as ORMs

Definition and implementation of API interfaces (REST, GraphQL)

Development and maintenance of CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

Monitoring, logging and performance optimization in cloud environments (AWS)

Qualification

5 years of experience in backend development with Node.js & TypeScript

3 years of experience in frontend with TypeScript and React or Next.js

Sound knowledge of REST and / or GraphQL

Confidence in dealing with relational databases (PostgreSQL)

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud providers (AWS)

Testing experience (Jest, Cypress)

Experience in microservice architectures and event-driven systems

German native, English very good

Structured, solution-oriented way of working and sense of responsibility

Office in Cologne (5 days / week presence)
