Overview
The Medical Liaison Manager is critical enabler role for the execution of the medical strategy in the field of the BU RD, and should :
Responsibilities
Designs & delivers core medical affairs external engagement / partnership projects (in close collaboration with Medical Director).
Maintains an up to date and high-level knowledge of the therapy area & products, new and emerging areas of research, therapeutic issues, and trends.
Develops mutually beneficial relationships with national, regional, and local External Experts in Spain & Portugal, leading to a productive two-way scientific exchange and achievement of mutually agreed upon objectives related to educational projects, data generation, publications, etc.
Qualifications
Scientific, healthcare or medical degree (BSc, MS, PhD, PharmD, RN, MBBS, MB.
Advanced Portuguese, English and Spanish (spoken and written).
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry desirable in Medical Affairs type role, dealing with hospital products (desirable Rare Diseases).
Ability to research and critically analyse and communicate complex scientific and medical information and data.
Excellent planning and organization skills, with high-level attention to detail and accuracy.
Robust knowledge of local regulations related to industry interactions with Spain & Portugal healthcare professionals.
Valid driver’s license.
Specific therapeutic area experience preferred in Duchenne, rare diseases, neurology and / or neuromuscular.
