Danfoss is seeking an Application Support Engineer responsible for providing technical support within the Cooling division, focusing on industrial refrigeration. The role involves working closely with Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers to support Danfoss products related to the Cooling segment for OEMs, contractors, and wholesalers in Spain.

The candidate will offer expertise on components and systems, solve problems, and support the selection, qualification, and application of Danfoss products. They will also facilitate knowledge transfer from field applications to improve existing products and aid in developing new ones, aligned with technological advancements. Job Responsibilities Provide technical support to customers and sales teams for current and future business.

Act as the main contact for customer quality issues, mainly application-related.

Represent the voice of the customer within Danfoss Cooling for application matters.

Identify critical sales factors from a technical perspective and drive related activities.

Participate in product and training presentations, including new product launches.

Handle customer requests collaboratively with other departments.

Ensure proper handling and installation of products at customer factories.

Coordinate technical decisions with factories and Account Managers.

Maintain and develop customer relationships, emphasizing key decision-makers.

Visit customers regularly to enhance visibility and loyalty.

Share system and application knowledge within the regional team.

Write reports and documentation.

Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

At least three years of experience in industrial refrigeration, especially ammonia installations.

Knowledge of vapor compression systems, heat transfer, and product technologies.

Experience with electronic components like controllers and sensors.

Ability to analyze interactions between refrigerating circuit components.

Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills.

Customer-focused with effective communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Fluent in English and Spanish.

Willing to travel within the country (~10%).
