Overview
Real Estate Project Manager role at McKinsey & Company. This position focuses on managing McKinsey’s global real estate portfolio in the Asia-Pacific Region, delivering sustainable workplace solutions and supporting the firm’s real estate strategy.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities include :
- Support McKinsey locations in the Asia-Pacific Region by executing real estate strategy and delivering best-in-class, sustainable workplace solutions.
- Collaborate with the regional Portfolio Manager to assess location suitability, evaluate potential locations and buildings, and provide programmatic support in building project requirements.
- Assist in building project budgets, own approved budgets, and lead the sourcing and management of external professional teams (e.g., project managers, architects, builders) from inception to completion.
- Develop, use, and share best-practice standards including technical, process, and coordination documents required for successful delivery of sustainable interior fit-outs.
- Collaborate with location leaders, IT colleagues, and other internal stakeholders to build and deliver on project requirements.
- Ensure workplaces are built to firm standards, meet local program, operational, and aspirational requirements, and provide spaces that support consultants’ collaboration, learning, and performance.
Qualifications and Skills
University degree (ideally in project management, construction, or architectural design) required5+ years’ experience, ideally in a professional services environment with direct hands-on, corporate interiors construction, project management, or architectural design experienceConfident, excellent relationship-building skills, and experience working collaboratively with colleagues of all tenuresStrong problem-solving, analytical, negotiation, and project management skillsProficient in rational decision making based on data, facts, and logical reasoningAbility to self-motivate and act independently; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyStrong integrity, maturity, and fairness in dealing with people and confidential informationExcellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to convey complex concepts clearlySeniority and Employment Details
