Job Opportunity
This role requires a seasoned Process Engineer to design and implement process improvements within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
Responsibilities
Develop process flow diagrams, material & energy balances, and utility sizing for various process systems.
Design P&IDs for process and critical utility systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Define control strategies, including CIP / SIP integration and interface with DCS / PLC systems.
Lead engineering studies to improve, automate, or expand existing facilities, minimizing supervision.
Collaborate with project controls, architecture, construction management, and commissioning teams.
Engage in development and use of design tools, such as simulation and smart P&ID systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
10+ years of experience in process design within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences.
Demonstrated track record leading or significantly contributing to projects exceeding €100 million in value.
Proficient in creating PFDs, P&IDs, utility sizing, calculations, and equipment specs.
Skilled in process simulation tools, smart-P&ID systems, and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of cGMP, GAMP, ISA standards, CIP / SIP, and regulatory documentation.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, time management, and project ownership skills.
