QA Engineer

At this stage of our journey we are looking for QA Engineer to join our team on a remote basis from anywhere in the world.

About the Project :

TxPlanner is a web service for professionals in orthodontics and dentistry. It allows doctors to upload 3D scans of teeth, plan treatments, create step-by-step models of tooth movements, and prepare files for 3D printing.

The software is used in the process of manufacturing aligners — transparent trays for teeth alignment, custom-made for each patient.

Requirements :

• QA Fundamentals – Understanding of testing methodologies (functional, regression, smoke, exploratory) and ability to design test cases and test scenarios.
• Bug Tracking & Documentation – Hands-on experience with issue-tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports with supporting evidence (logs, screenshots, steps to reproduce).
• Web Application Testing – Basic knowledge of how modern web apps work (HTTP requests, browsers, responsive design, cross-browser testing). Ability to identify UI / UX inconsistencies.
• Tools & Automation Basics – Familiarity with collaboration tools (Confluence, Google Docs / Sheets, Slack) and basic knowledge of testing / automation tools (e.g., Postman for API checks, browser dev tools).
• Experience in writing automated tests in TypeScript using the Playwright framework.
• This role involves a mix of manual and automated testing with a stronger focus on manual QA. The candidate should be comfortable designing and executing manual test cases, while also contributing to automation efforts using Playwright and TypeScript to improve test coverage and efficiency.
