Sr. Risk Manager (with German), Central Compliance

The Central Compliance team is looking for a Risk Manager to join the Last Mile organization. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for due diligence checks related to third-party suppliers within Amazon's Last Mile programs. You will collaborate with audit and analyst teams worldwide to develop compelling narratives and propose innovative solutions to improve program efficiency and mitigate risks.

Key job responsibilities Develop a comprehensive understanding of operational processes and controls supporting all compliance programs.

Assist in linking policies, standard operating procedures, internal controls, monitoring, and reporting to enhance operations, compliance, and risk management.

Influence and collaborate with leaders and teams across Amazon, challenging solutions while advocating for the customer.

Investigate process or service failures to identify root causes.

Identify trends and themes in data to address larger issues, and meet with team leaders to determine next steps.

Report on root causes and process gaps to stakeholders.

Build strong working relationships across teams to drive resolution activities.

Gain deep knowledge of supported business lines and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop beneficial solutions.

Minimum requirements include :

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Fluency in German.

Experience with technology implementation and lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies.

Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
