Job Role - Data Steward

Job Location - Barcelona / Madrid

Onsite Availability - Hybrid (1 day / week)

Hire - Contract

Data Management & Governance Knowledge

Understanding of Data Governance frameworks

Knowledge of data quality, data lineage, metadata management

Business Understanding

Deep understanding of business processes and how data flows through them

Knowledge of master data (e.g., customers, materials, vendors)

Technical Skills

Proficiency in data profiling and data quality tools like :

• Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
• SAP Information Steward
• Talend
• Collibra, Axon, Alation, Ataccama (for metadata and governance)

Familiarity with SQL for querying and validating data

Experience working with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA)

Documentation & Metadata Skills

Maintaining data dictionaries, glossaries, and lineage

Creating clear data definitions, attribute descriptions

Communication & Collaboration

Strong communication skills to work across IT and business teams

Ability to explain data issues to non-technical users
