Actuarial Expert Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned actuary with expertise in life and health insurance to join our team as an Actuarial Expert. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support on IFRS 17 topics, assisting entities in implementing group solutions, and identifying risks, impacts, and problems. You will also contribute to setting up appropriate change management plans required by IFRS 17 and organize meetings with stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to participate in the community of Chief Actuaries, contribute to the organization and content of IMa Chief actuary meetings, and ensure compliance with group actuarial practices across entities.

This is a dynamic role that requires a motivated and experienced individual who can effectively convey complex issues into clear and easy-to-understand oral or written presentations.

• Strong technical skills in life, savings, and health products (actuarial modeling, coding, data)
• Business acumen and ability to work in a collaborative / project mode
• Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders
• Reactiveness, smooth and strong exchanges with entities
• Capacity to deal with a wide diversity of situations

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of profitability analysis and MCEV reporting, as well as experience in implementing IFRS 17.
