Overview
Mission Be part of a growing business in the Kudelski Security DevOps teams ("you build it, you run it") and within infrastructure engineering group, as a Senior DevOps Engineer to enable infrastructure as code : design, build, run and automate cloud infrastructures, delivery engineering and middleware components (including documentation), keeping in mind the 24 / 7 constraint on our production environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support technical components that form the foundations of our solutions (e.G. Elastic Stack, Prometheus, native AWS & Azure services and others).
- Build and maintain global tools needed for automation, integration, deployment, backup, monitoring and operations to support scale-up of activities.
- Advise on CI / CD architecture, application resiliency, high availability and security.
- Enable and work with developers’ squads to continuously integrate and deploy their software code through CI / CD solutions.
- Be part of the on-call rotation of the squad.
- Share knowledge and experience with other team members and departments of the company. Act as an on-site technical decision-maker and coordinator of the local infrastructure team, facilitating collaboration with local development teams and reporting to your manager in Switzerland.

Requirements / Profile
a) Experience & Background : As a Senior DevOps Engineer you are expected to be a strong team player, work independently, take initiatives as well as be a technical leader and subject matter expert on the following, evolving rapidly in a wide range of technologies :Exceptional public cloud providers experience and knowledgeThorough containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) & service mesh expertiseAdvanced with code management (git) and build tools (Gitlab)Strong “as code” automation abilities (Terraform)Strong debugging skills and problem solving abilitiesUnderstanding of global architecture from infrastructure through middleware to applications;understanding of microservices architecture is a plus
Advanced in scripting languages (Python, Bash)Experienced with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Foreman)Experienced with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies is a plusb) Qualifications : Advanced university degree (master’s degree) in technology / computer science required;10 years of recent / immediate experience with Linux / sysops and public cloud providers, and knowledge of networking and security protocols;Certifications incloudtechnologies (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) is a plus
c) Personal skills : Fully autonomous;Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills;Able to solve complex problems requiring in-depth analysis;Conceive new approachesand create innovative solutions;Process re-engineering skills;Ability to use and integrate a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools;Enthusiast team player capable of sharing knowledge, support and promoting less experienced engineers;Stress resistant;Able to manage workloads by defining priorities;Common sense;Ability to work in a multicultural environment;Passionate about Cybersecurity and best practices is a plus.
