We are looking for a Project Manager for our Innovation Committee, and you'll play a crucial role in driving process improvement and innovation. The position is initially based in Barcelona, with a later relocation to the UK.

The role

Coordinate with plants to understand process improvement needs and propose improvement and optimization projects.

Search for public funding to develop R+D+i projects.

Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of new technologies and processes; liaise with technology centers and universities.

Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the successful execution of projects.

Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

Create a detailed project plan to track progress.

Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

Report and escalate issues to management as needed.

Manage relationships with all stakeholders.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

The person

Strong educational background, preferably in chemical engineering.

Proven experience as a project manager in the chemical or waste management sector.

Solid technical background with experience in R+D+I.

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
