Job Title : EHS Specialist

About the Role

This is a key position in our organization, responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety management systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and permits to work.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure EHS requirements are met.
  • Participate in site inductions and ensure all team members meet required training standards.
  • Help maintain the project's training matrix and ensure up-to-date documentation is in place.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits, escalating any issues to senior EHS staff.

Additional responsibilities include contributing to toolbox talks and EHS communications, supporting incident reporting, and implementing corrective and preventive measures. Ensuring appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is available and used correctly by site personnel is also a priority.
