Descripción del trabajo

About the role

We are looking for a Real Estate Closing Associate to join our Operations team in Madrid. This role is key to the scalability of the Transactions area and to VIVLA’s growth. By ensuring smooth and efficient property purchase and sales processes — both on the customer side and on the company side — you will allow the team to focus on high-impact projects and on continuously improving the client experience.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the acquisition process of new homes to be incorporated into VIVLA’s portfolio, working closely with internal teams and external agents.
  • Review and prepare legal and financial documentation for property acquisitions, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with real estate agents, developers, notaries, and other external professionals to secure efficient property purchases and sales.
  • Manage the closing process of customer transactions : guide clients from signing the reservation contract of a fraction to the final deed at the notary, ensuring a seamless experience and meeting the target closing time.
  • Coordinate and maintain proactive communication with customers, Sales, Legal, Finance and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and a frictionless journey.

What you’ll need

  • 2–3 years of experience in real estate and urban planning law; experience in law firms (real estate focus) or real estate companies (e.g., servicers) is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of real estate law, basic understanding of urban planning and real estate taxation; essential financial fundamentals.
  • Strong project management skills to handle complex processes and tight deadlines, coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English and Spanish.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation with precision.
  • Proactive, well-organized, and able to handle several transactions simultaneously.
  • What we offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including market-rate salary. We also offer unique benefits, such as :

  • One remote work week every quarter and two annual VIVLA la VIDA offsite company parties.
  • Free lunch at the office, including a team family lunch on Thursdays and weekly beer-filled All Hands.
  • Working with excellent professionals is the best motivation. Here you’ll find a friendly bunch of entrepreneurs aiming to change the way people live.
  • A carefully crafted and purpose-driven company culture with clear operating principles that you can help develop and enjoy, maximizing your performance.
  • A leadership team that truly cares about a rich and balanced lifestyle for all employees, and a work environment that guarantees emotional safety and mental stability of all employees.
  • How is the team and our culture?

  • We are a small, compact and very senior team. Our executive team has been behind the growth and internationalization of several companies. Right now, there are 35 of us on the team.
  • At Vivla you will have the rare chance to work in a vibrant and energizing start-up culture with flat hierarchies and clear core values. We have no space for arrogance, empty corporate bureaucracy, lack of empathy or mistreatment.
  • We treat people as we would treat our family, for real, and we also believe that people should have fun, flexibility and good perks, but knowing that hard work is very important to build something great (mental health friendly : -)
  • We have a large kitchen in the office and every Thursday a couple cooks for the rest.
