About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Unix & Cloud Data Support Engineer to join the application development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Unix system administration, a solid understanding of cloud-based data services (especially AWS), and hands-on experience with ETL pipelines and production support. This role plays a key part in ensuring reliable ingestion, transformation and delivery of data from multiple global sources, supporting production environments, and collaborating with international teams to maintain a critical financial data platform.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Unix / Linux-based environments hosting data processing and integration services.
• Operate and maintain ETL pipelines, integrating data from multiple systems into centralized databases, data warehouses, or data lakes.
• Perform log analysis, debugging, and root cause investigations in real-time production systems.
• Support services hosted in AWS, including resource, process, and file management.
• Utilize SQL for data querying and analysis.
• Collaborate with global development and support teams across AMERS and Europe, particularly during peak Europe business hours.
• Contribute to final testing and stabilization phases of a multi-year development effort preparing for full production release.
