Our client is a rapidly growing European aerospace and defense company developing advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicle systems. Their mission is to redefine modern defense capabilities through innovative technologies that deliver speed, precision, and operational efficiency across mission-critical environments.
We are currently supporting them in the search for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives across the Middle East and Indian defense markets. This role bridges strategy, technology, and government engagement—connecting advanced engineering with real-world defense applications.
As Business Development Manager, you will be the key interface between government stakeholders, procurement authorities, and internal technical teams. You’ll drive business growth through opportunity development, bid management, and high-level stakeholder engagement in two of the world’s most dynamic defense markets.
Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the Middle East and Indian defense sectors, with a strong focus on UAV technologies and government procurement.
Lead the preparation and submission of bids, proposals, and tenders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual standards.
Collaborate with internal teams—engineering, legal, finance, and program management—to align technical and commercial objectives.
Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favorable terms and successful project execution.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or procurement within the defense sector.
Proven background in UAV / drone systems, aerospace, or related defense technology is highly desirable.
Strong business acumen with a proactive, strategic mindset.
Fluent in English (spoken and written); Experience managing government tenders and offset or industrial participation programs.
Educational background in engineering, business, or a related discipline.
Familiarity with regional defense regulations and export control frameworks.
