Senior Satellite Systems Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mission Control Center Senior Engineer with deep expertise in satellite systems, payload management, and mission control infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual design, development, and technical procurement of Mission Control Centers ensuring adaptation for various mission types.
• Conduct systems engineering for MCCs focusing on interfaces, data and control plane flows, and payload integration and management.
• Define and follow-up on requirements for MCC hardware and software, including interfaces with gateways, satellite control centers, networks, IT infrastructure, and data centers.
• Perform system-level trade-offs and contribute to overall architecture definition.
• Manage requirements engineering using tools like DOORS or JAMA.
• Participate in RFP processes and follow-up on procurement, development, integration, verification, and acceptance phases.
• Support definition of operational procedures, and interface with both internal teams and subcontractors.
