Overview
Research Engineer - Semiconductor Device and Circuit Modeling at Emmi AI
At Emmi AI, we are redefining how industries innovate. Traditional simulations are slow, expensive, and computationally heavy. We make them fast, scalable and intelligent! Our AI-Powered physics architecture and models unlock Real-time interaction, slashing simulation times from days to seconds.
The opportunity
You will get the chance to conceptualize and develop Physics AI surrogate models bridging the gap between basic research and real-world applications for semiconductor device and circuit modeling. Together, we will push the boundaries of current SOTA AI-based simulation technologies and publish at top-tier ML / AI venues (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR). You’ll utilize tools like PyTorch, JAX, and OpenFOAM on large-scale compute clusters, and thousands of CPU cores as an enabler for our projects and research.
We love AI, and have fun at work. This may manifest in things like…
- … you value the beauty of smooth gradient norm curves as others do van Gogh paintings.
- … you get uneasy when seeing idling nodes in our compute cluster.
- … your mood is inversely proportional to the validation loss of your latest train run.
- … tackling our most exciting problems as a team supporting each other when things get tricky.
- … you tell all your family at dinner about the impeccable compositional structure of your well-documented Python code.
- … but still value a healthy work life balance and care about the social impact of your work.
