As a member of Roche Informatics' Data Advisory & Insights team, the Data and Analytics Specialist plays a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders across different functions. This role involves understanding customer and stakeholder needs, problem-solving, contributing to product vision and roadmaps, managing the team backlog, and supporting teams in delivering value through continuous feedback. You will collaborate as a team player in delivering data products and should be comfortable with ambiguity, able to work independently with minimal oversight.

Overview : The Financial Planning team at Roche supports company-wide budgeting and forecasting processes. We are seeking a Senior TM1 / Planning Analytics Engineer to plan, architect, enhance, and build support processes for current and future applications.

Responsibilities :

Main Skills and Responsibilities :

  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a Planning Analytics / TM1 Architect and Developer.
  • Proficiency in setting up cubes and dimensions.
  • Ability to write complex, dependent Turbo Integrator processes (TIs).
  • Ability to write complex Rules using TM1's rule engine.
  • Experience building PAW (Planning Analytics Workspace) workbooks.
  • Understanding of TM1 REST API, capable of writing API calls with complex, parameter-driven MDX queries.
  • In-depth knowledge of TM1 security model and ability to implement complex security setups.
  • Expertise in Perspectives and PAFE Excel Add-ins.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in programming languages such as Python.
  • Extensive experience with relational database systems and SQL.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and testing financial planning applications.
  • Ability to serve as a Business Analyst by collaborating closely with customers to understand their processes and requirements.
  • Experience in documenting user requirements and creating Functional Specification and Design documents.
  • Proven ability to self-organize and take proactive measures.
  • Proficiency in English.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile tools.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to balance customer-centric thinking with technical feasibility and stakeholder needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
