Vulnerability Analyst

Overview

As a Vulnerability Analyst on Appian’s Information Security team, you will log, track, and manage discovered vulnerabilities, perform continuous monitoring, and collaborate with engineering and IT to remediate findings. You’ll also report on high‑impact vulnerabilities, stay current on cybersecurity trends, and contribute to the overall security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Log and track discovered vulnerabilities.
• Triage remediation tasks and assign to system owners, tracking tasks accordingly.
• Complete ad‑hoc metrics and reporting when requested.
• Communicate with various internal stakeholders about open findings.
• Stay aware of current business and industry trends relevant to security.
• Perform vulnerability scans as directed by management.
• Report on CISA alerts and track any known high‑impact vulnerabilities.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis against vulnerabilities and determine feasible technical solutions.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple, simultaneous initiatives.
