The Opportunity As part of our continued European expansion, we are now seeking a Managing Director / Commercial Director to establish and grow Lajac Spain & Portugal . This is a key leadership role, combining strategic business development with operational management.

You will be responsible for leading our business activities in the region, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring Lajac becomes the go-to partner for industrial ventilation solutions in Spain and Portugal.

Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the Lajac business in Spain and Portugal.

Drive sales and commercial growth , with a strong focus on building customer partnerships.

Manage P&L responsibilities , budgeting, and local operations.

Identify new opportunities in industrial sectors such as woodworking, metalworking, welding, and other dust / fume-intensive industries .

Recruit, lead, and motivate a small but growing local team.

Work closely with the wider European Lajac network to ensure alignment and share best practices.

Represent the Lajac brand in the market, ensuring high standards of service, technical consultation, and delivery.

Candidate Profile We are looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial leader with both commercial acumen and a hands-on management style .

Proven track record in sales and business development , ideally in industrial solutions, ventilation, filtration, or related technical sectors.

Strong leadership and general management experience.

Ability to manage both strategic growth and day-to-day operations .

Fluent in Spanish and / or Portuguese with good English communication skills .

Technical understanding of industrial solutions is an advantage, though not essential.

Strong network within relevant industrial sectors is a plus.
