Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and validation of modular steel structures for data centers.
- Review and approve 3rd party structural solutions and ensure compliance with project and client requirements.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, including manufacturing drawings, transportation and lifting notes, and testing procedures.
- Support factory and commissioning activities in Barcelona and other international facilities.
- Ensure that structural designs comply with local regulations, seismic standards, and international codes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical support to site teams and customer representatives when issues arise.
- Participate in project and safety meetings to ensure alignment with quality and delivery expectations.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in structural and mechanical design of steel constructions.Solid knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and compliance requirements.Hands-on experience with design tools such as Revit, Tekla, CREO, or Autodesk Robot.Ability to prepare manufacturing drawings, calculation notes, and technical documentation.Familiarity with finite element analysis and structural validation methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Proactive mindset and ability to work in a multidisciplinary, international environment.High level of English (spoken and written).Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.Why us?
