We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Back-End Engineer to join our Data & AI Solutions – Engineering team within Healthcare R&D . In this role, you will help develop and improve an AWS-based analytics platform supporting drug discovery and development. Your responsibilities include implementing and maintaining the platform’s technical roadmap, designing new features, and ensuring smooth deployment and updates. You will also manage infrastructure, security, and optimize data lifecycle processes, ensuring efficient storage management and compliance with regulations.

Main Responsibilities Develop, deploy, and improve the AWS Cloud-based analytics platform

Design and implement new platform features and handle updates

Manage infrastructure and security aspects of the platform

Implement data archival strategies and optimize data lifecycle processes

Collaborate within an agile, multicultural team with high autonomy

Core Skills / Experience Proficient in Python (especially with boto3 for AWS services) and AWS tools

Strong experience in cloud system design

Proficiency in SQL and object-oriented programming

Familiarity with AWS CDK, Lambda, and DevOps tools

Understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles

Nice-to-Have Skills Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID for identity management

Experience with R and SAS for data analysis and modeling
