Overview POSITION SUMMARY
As a key player in our manufacturing operations, this role is dedicated to embedding a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility across the production plants. You will aim at guaranteeing performances improvement and safety enhancement, and sharing and implementing best practices. The position ensures that all safety and sustainability initiatives are aligned with industry standards and corporate objectives defined by Group policies (Carbon footprint, energy reduction...), also through internal and external benchmarking, compliant to internal and external requirements, particularly in the context of high-performance automotive component production.
Core Responsibilities Plant Safety Integration
Champion the implementation of safety systems and protocols tailored to the unique risks of automotive parts manufacturing, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment.
Regulatory & Industry Compliance
Stay ahead of evolving legislation and industry-specific safety standards, ensuring the plant meets or exceeds all legal and regulatory obligations.
Lead the investigation and resolution of workplace incidents, while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks associated with machinery, materials, and production processes.
Corporate Standards Deployment
Localize and apply corporate HSEE tools and methodologies, ensuring they are effectively embedded into daily plant operations.
Audit & Inspection Readiness
Partner with corporate HSEE teams to prepare for audits and inspections, ensuring full compliance and continuous improvement.
Performance Reporting
Deliver accurate and timely reporting on key safety and environmental metrics, supporting data-driven decision-making and transparency.
Sustainability & Emissions Reduction
Drive environmental initiatives focused on reducing the plant’s carbon footprint and resource consumption, in line with corporate sustainability goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to integrate safety and environmental considerations into all aspects of manufacturing.
Best Practice Implementation
Identify and apply global best practices in HSEE, with a focus on innovation and operational excellence in the automotive sector.
Requirements At least 3 years' experience in leadership roles in HSEE in an industrial context.
Education degree related to HSEE.
Experience in Project Management.
