Backend Engineer (f / m / d)

Descripción del trabajoBachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement. Proficient in Java and Spring Boot, with a solid understanding of hexagonal architecture principles. Familiarity with cloud-native applications and experience with Docker and YAML. Experience with Azure or another comparable cloud provider is advantageous. Fluent in English; knowledge of German and / or Spanish is a plus. Working Hours — Flexible working hours to accommodate your schedule. 60% remote and 40% in our Madrid offices (Torre Europa). Meal allowances — Meal benefits available, equivalent to 11 € net per day. Option to use for public transportation or childcare. Internet Compensation — We cover home internet costs, up to 48.40 € net per month. Microsoft ESI Certifications — Access to the Enterprise Skills Initiative program for training on Microsoft and Azure technologies. Training courses — Industry-specific training and a learning channel to support skills development. Gym Coverage — 90% coverage for gym access (Forus Selection). Health Insurance — Comprehensive health plan with option to extend to spouse and children.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems for optimal functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and integrate cloud platforms like Azure.
- Apply best practices in clean coding, responsive design, and containerized setups using Docker.
- Develop microservices with Spring Boot, conduct code reviews, and enhance our modern tech stack.
- Manage integrations and ensure seamless user experiences across the tech stack.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies to continuously improve system performance.
