We are looking for a Stress engineer with experience in the energy sector. You will join the Stress team being involved in different projects and programs.

Responsibilities

Perform structural and fatigue analyses of wind turbine components, including blades, towers, and nacelles, using finite element analysis (FEA) tools.

Assess the impact of dynamic loads, such as wind, gravity, and operational stresses, on turbine structures to ensure safety and durability.

Collaborate with design engineers to optimize component geometries and material selections for stress mitigation.

Validate structural models through testing and correlation with empirical data.

Ensure that designs comply with industry standards, including IEC 61400, and other relevant codes.

Document analysis results and provide recommendations for design improvements.

Support failure investigations and root cause analyses related to structural issues.

Stay updated on advancements in materials science and structural analysis methodologies pertinent to wind energy applications.

Mandatory skills

At least 3 years of experience in a sector and equivalent position

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

Spanish C1 Level and Minimum C1 level in English, French would be a plus

Extensive experience with FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) and structural analysis tools.

In-depth knowledge of materials behavior under cyclic loading and fatigue analysis.

Familiarity with international standards and guidelines for wind turbine structural design.
