The Alpega Group is looking for a Product Owner. This role will be part of the Product Development team, within our Freight Exchange team. This role can be based in the Barcelona area.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Product Owner will be responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work for a software Scrum team in order to ensure that our applications match the vision settled by the Product Management team.
The Product Owner will work closely with the product manager, the designer and the development teams. She / he will work in a SCRUM methodology environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take the role of Product Owner in scrum teams
- Providing plan of delivery to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project
- Create epics & user stories based on the plan
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product vision and strategy
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
- Lead and / or participate in all SCRUM ceremonies
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release / Sprint Goals
- Measure and analyze the application usage
- Follow our competitors and the industry
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU
The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a tech company.Education with technical background is a plus but not mandatory.She / he is able to work efficiently in English.Spanish or French are a plus but not mandatory.Communication is key in our IT department and the Product Owner has a central role that requires good communication skills.WHAT WE OFFER YOU
