System Administrator - AWS & Windows (SRE / BI)

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure following best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), security, and high availability (HA)
  • Administer and optimize Windows Server operating systems (including Active Directory, GPOs) at an advanced level
  • Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate deployments and testing
  • Create and maintain automation scripts (mainly in PowerShell; Bash is a plus)
  • Support and manage key platforms and applications, including BI tools like Pentaho and automation platforms like N8N
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis, mainly in Windows environments
  • Collaborate with development teams to set standards, improve processes, and support DevOps practices
  • Manage cloud infrastructure security (certificates, KMS, WAF, Security Groups, etc.)
  • Administer relational databases like MySQL / MariaDB
  • Linux administration experience (CentOS / Ubuntu) is a plus

Requirements

  • BI Experience : Previous work with BI teams and solid knowledge of data architecture
  • Experience : 4+ years in SysAdmin, SRE, or DevOps roles, mainly in Windows environments
  • Windows Server : Advanced administration skills
  • Cloud : Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, VPC, etc.); Google Cloud is a plus
  • Automation : Jenkins, Pipelines, Terraform, and strong PowerShell scripting
  • Networking : Good understanding of TCP / IP, DNS, and security groups
  • Databases & Containers : MySQL / MariaDB, Docker, AWS ECS
  • Security : SSL / TLS certificates, KMS
  • Monitoring : System performance monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Languages : Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Collaboration : Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical teams
  • Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Linux administration (CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Experience with Data Lakes on Google Cloud
  • Bash scripting
  • Git : Repository and workflow management
  • Experience with orchestration / configuration tools (Ansible, Kubernetes / K8s)
  • Knowledge of Python or other programming languages
  • Familiarity with additional BI tools (Qlik, Knime)
  • Web server administration (Nginx, IIS)
  • Familiarity with packaging tools (Maven, npm)
  • Background in high-traffic web environments
