About The Role

As an experienced Frontend Engineer on our Payin team, you will be at the heart of Back Market's payment ecosystem. You'll craft secure, seamless payment experiences that enable millions of customers worldwide to purchase refurbished devices with confidence.

The Payin team owns the complete payment journey — from checkout optimization to fraud prevention, from new payment method integrations to PCI DSS compliance. We're tackling challenges like implementing one-click payments, launching new payment methods across different markets, and building next-generation payment forms that guide users effortlessly through their purchase.

What You'll Work On

Payment Experience Innovation

• Build and optimize payment forms that improve conversion rates across web and mobile
• Integrate new payment methods like Klarna, PayPal, and Open Banking solutions
• Develop one-click payment features for returning customers
• Create responsive payment flows that work seamlessly across devices

Technical Environment

Our platform runs on Vue.js / Nuxt with TypeScript, served through Node.js and Cloudflare. We deploy multiple times daily using CircleCI, with comprehensive testing via Vitest and Playwright. Our payment systems integrate with Adyen, Signifyd, and various payment providers across global markets.
