Job Title : Financial Operations Director

About the Role

The Financial Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing and directing all financial activities within a global shared services center. This individual will ensure compliance with group and local processes, manage a team of accountants, and prepare financial reports under the guidance of the Group Financial Services & Accounting.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees in the Group Shared Services Center.

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs on the Group Shared Services Center activity to the HQ team.

Maintain effective communication and regular exchanges with accounting managers in each country.

Report to the HQ Financial Services Team.

Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring their implementation at the local level.

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Manage internal audits and ensure compliance with established procedures.

Collaborate with other departments to provide relevant financial information.

Train and develop the accounting team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Previous experience of 3-5 years in an accounting firm (preferably big four) in a leadership position.

Knowledge of accounting in Spain and ability to learn other countries' regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Experience with SAP, Real Estate companies, and other financial management tools.
