The Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) is one of the top leading cancer research institutes in Europe, hosting world-renowned scientists that have made significant contributions in both basic and translational aspects of cancer biology.

The goal of Dr. Eva González-Suárez´s laboratory is to understand the signaling pathways implicated in cell identity in physiological conditions, crosstalk between epithelial immune cells during cancer initiation, progression and metastasis. We have a multidisciplinary approach using mouse models, cell cultures, clinical samples and molecular and cell biology techniques to translate basic research into clinically relevant results.

Criterios de evaluación

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral / research scientist holding a PhD (prior to 2021) in a relevant discipline with at least four years of experience as postdoctoral scientist and with strong background in cancer biology, immunity and / or metabolism. Certifications in animal handling and experimentation.

Candidates must have :

An outstanding publication record in peer review journals during the diferent stages of their scientific career.

International experience.

Experience working with mouse models of cancer, tumor immunology and metabolism.

Strong technical skills in molecular and cell biology.

Fluent spoken and written English.

Experience in manuscript writing and supervision of students.

Basic knowledge on bioinformatic tools.
