Our platform is used by leading financial institutions in Europe and LATAM, supporting more than 25,000 financial advisors and bankers in their daily decision-making.We build secure, auditable and compliant AI systems tailored for regulated financial environments, with a strong focus on reliability, transparency and real-world impact.Role DescriptionWe are looking for PhD-level Researcher to join our team and lead the development of GPTadvisor’s proprietary Large Language Model focused on financial and wealth-management applications.This is a permanent contract (contrato indefinido) based in Madrid / Valencia with the option of hybrid or remote work depending on the candidate.The researcher will drive core research efforts, including : - Designing, training, and evaluating LLM architectures tailored to financial advisory tasks.- Developing domain-specific datasets, evaluation frameworks, and model-alignment methodologies.- Collaborating with engineers, data scientists and product teams to bring research into production.- Conducting experiments, validating hypotheses, and ensuring robustness, transparency and regulatory alignment of AI models.This is a highly impactful role at the intersection of AI research, finance and applied machine learning, shaping the next generation of AI for the wealth-management industry.Salary : starting at €35,000 gross / year, with final compensation depending on the candidate’s profile and experience.Legal residency in Spain is required. Only candidates currently residing in Spain will be considered.Qualifications- Doctorate (PhD) in a related field such as Engineering, AI, Finance, or Economics- Experience in working with interdisciplinary teams and applying findings to practical applications- Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to communicate research findings effectively- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.G., Python, R) is a plus
