Qa Engineer – Industrial Automation Software

At Oxigent Technologies we are currently looking for a QA Engineer to join a software engineering team located in Barcelona (Poblenou) , collaborating with global teams in Europe, the US, and Japan, and participating in projects such as 3D simulation, drives configuration / programming, and industrial networks software within the industrial automation field.

Your mission will be to ensure the quality of a global industrial software platform , executing both manual and automated tests, working closely with QA and software engineers across international locations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing and automation processes.

What will be your main responsibilities?

• Transform requirements into software specifications.
• Translate software specifications into Features and User Stories
• Make test plans and execute them : manual and automated testing.
• Extend test automation and continuous integration systems.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the software.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborate in a Scrum environment with multidisciplinary and international teams.
