Senior Director, Product Management (Global Payroll / GlobalView technology)

The role of Senior Director, Global Payroll Product Management will be responsible for the successful delivery of global payroll features for clients and associates. This role will lead the evolution of the GlobalView payroll technology to support organizational business objectives. The Senior Director, Product Management will lead a team of product managers through the full product lifecycle to successfully define a product vision and roadmap based on a deep understanding of client needs and market factors, deliver against the roadmap, and track product adoption.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

Influence Product and Go-To-Market Strategies :

  • Drive the strategic direction of products; oversee the development and management of product roadmaps. Direct all aspects of the product lifecycle and overall product readiness, fostering innovation, strategy, growth, and revenue.
  • Articulate strategies clearly, including pros and cons of options, and secure buy-in from teams and leadership.
  • Identify and champion opportunities outside of ADP for acquisitions, competitive positioning, and other needs.
  • Interface, present, and influence at the executive level within ADP.

Portfolio Planning and Prioritization :

  • Respond to market shifts affecting multiple products to maximize benefits.
  • Plan for emerging technologies and their impact on products, understanding technology trends and company adoption rationale.
  • Interpret market needs ahead of time, influencing product and service improvements, with a deep knowledge of the multi-country payroll market.
  • Align priorities with executive sponsors and guide teams in feature and product development based on customer and market needs.
  • Explore new applications of product technologies across industries.
  • Anticipate future client needs and work with stakeholders to expand relationships.
  • Customer Experience and Market Orientation :

  • Respond to market shifts to benefit all products.
  • Maintain cross-product thinking to anticipate new market entrants.
  • Define and communicate the broader product ecosystem.
  • Design and align the organization on the end-to-end client experience.
  • Negotiate with senior management, customers, regulators, or vendors to influence decisions.
  • Product Acumen and Metrics :

  • Define and monitor key metrics and adoption rates to measure product success.
  • Identify meaningful KPIs to drive product line OKRs.
  • Establish client metrics and tracking measures to ensure success.
  • Product Leadership and Impact :

  • Lead and influence product groups, providing thought leadership and accountability for the full product lifecycle.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and initiatives, impacting business direction through innovative services and products.
  • Organize teams to realize product visions, inspiring innovation and broad-range thinking.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor product management team members, driving team cohesion.
  • Build relationships with engineering, design, and business leaders to align goals.
  • Engage in Agile / Scrum ceremonies as a stakeholder.
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing multiple agile, user-centered product and development teams.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Thought leader with experience speaking and sharing insights in group settings.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions in complex organizations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical issues.
  • Experience delivering excellent customer outcomes in complex environments.
  • Expertise in researching industry trends, analytics, and applying insights to product strategies.
