Overview

Location : Reus Granada Málaga or Sevilla.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled PostgreSQL / AlloyDB Database Expert to join our dynamic DevOps team. You will play a key role in delivering Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) solutions for the Magenta TV platform ensuring high availability performance and security of business-critical systems.

Tech Stack & Tools

Databases : PostgreSQL AlloyDB
Cloud : Google Cloud Platform (IAM DMS VPC Monitoring & Logging)
Infrastructure : Terraform (IaC) Kubernetes
Security & Backup : Cloud-native solutions for backup restore and disaster recovery

Your Responsibilities

Operation monitoring and optimisation of PostgreSQL and AlloyDB databases

Setting up maintaining and further developing backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies

Performance analysis tuning and capacity planning

Automation of recurring operational and administrative tasks (e.g. monitoring provisioning patching)

Ensuring data integrity security and availability

Supporting development projects in database design query optimisation and deployment processes

Incident problem and change management within the ITIL process

Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operating manuals

Participation in on-call duty in 24 / 7 operation one week each one month and a half

Qualifications

Proven experience with PostgreSQL and AlloyDB in production environments.

Strong knowledge of Google Cloud tools and services.

Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud monitoring / logging.

Fluent English (minimum B1 level).

Experience working in agile and DevOps teams.

Prometheus good knowledge.

Google monitoring tools Grafana will appreciate.

Willingness to participate in on-call duty.
