Senior Observability Engineer (Open Telemetry, Dynatrace, Grafana…)

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Observability Engineer with specialized experience in Open Telemetry, Dynatrace, Grafana, Honeycomb, Gremlin, automation development and cloud frameworks.

Funciones

Lead and manage a group of developers

Figure ways to standardize manual tasks and then automate the process to remove human interaction

Implement and manage observability and monitoring solutions on cloud and on prem, leveraging observability (eg. OpenTelemetry) frameworks.

Help layout the governance and standards for implementing observability across the development cycle.

Lead detailed analysis and troubleshooting of complex system issues using observability tools.

Lead the effort to develop custom instrumentation, metrics, and logs to enhance monitoring capabilities.

Requisitos

Minimum 7 years of experience in cloud, observability or a related field.

Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing OpenTelemetry solutions.

Experience in cloud-based monitoring and troubleshooting.

Experience with Kubernetes Hands on development experience.

Habilitaciones esenciales

Proficient in leading, implementing and managing the observability tools in the cloud and on prem, with a focus on OpenTelemetry frameworks.

Terraform

Experience Kubernetes and experience Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures, particularly within the AWS and Azure Cloud Platform.

Experience in scripting and automation for integrating observability tools in cloud and on prem environments.

Ability to work on prem and in a remote setting, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
