Sales Representative - EMEA [Travel Retail]

Location : Barcelona

About Us : Duty Free Dynamics (DFD) is a ten-year-old company specializing in the distribution of premium brands through the global travel retail channel. Headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, DFD operates with regional commercial offices and logistics platforms covering the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. The company's new business approach is centered on strengthening control over its retail operations through various global partnerships.

Commercial Department

The Commercial Department is responsible for understanding and addressing the needs of DFD’s retail operators and franchisees, ensuring the successful distribution and positioning of its brands.

This team acts as the primary link between the company’s brands and its clients, leveraging internal and external communication touchpoints to build strong, long-lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and nurture existing key accounts with full ownership of all aspects including sales, logistics, and accounting balance.
  • Conduct quarterly visits to Points of Sale (POS) to ensure correct implementation of brand guidelines.
  • Propose and coordinate promotional activities to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Take and process orders accurately and timely.
  • Track sell-out performance closely to always ensure stock availability and avoid out of stocks.
  • Collaborate internally to ensure smooth operations and generate full trust within the organization.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on account performance and market trends.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in successfully managing key accounts.
  • Strong autonomy and ability to work independently while maintaining excellent internal communication and trust.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Analytical mindset to track sales performance and identify opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Availability to travel approximately 50% of the time for client visits and business development.
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills (especially Excel)
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); knowledge of French or German or Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the travel retail sector is a plus
