We are looking for a Backend Engineer to work on a real-time event processing platform for our client, a leader in the banking sector. Location : Málaga. Hybrid model : 3 days at the client’s office, 2 remote. We need you to have a passport from an EU country and be willing to relocate to Malaga - Spain. Job Responsibilities : Provide an event framework with architecture based on Kafka and Kafka streams to process streaming data, allowing the bank to have a real-time view and activate automated processes as necessary.

• Continuous improvement. Mandatory skills : At least 2 years' experience as a backend developer. Messaging or event-based architecture (Kafka) Streaming data processing frameworks : Kafka streams or Flink. Java with Spring / Springboot and Maven frameworks. Drools. Relational and non-relational databases. Code version control with Git. Synchronous REST services : Open API (JSON / YAML). Asynchronous REST services : Async API. Deployment, management, and scaling of containerised applications : Kubernetes / Openshift. English B2 / C1 Desirable requirements Experience in development with React, Python, Open Telemetry, Elastic Search Public Clouds / AWS and Azure Security standards for implementing authentication and authorisation mechanisms (Oauth, JWT) What can we offer? 23 days of Annual Leave plus the 24th and 31st of December as discretionary days!
