Job Requirements
To manage the delivery of policies and strategies that minimise and mitigate risks to improve Health and Safety resilience throughout TJX Spain. Provide advice and guidance on all Health and Safety Issues to raise awareness and enable compliance through effective Health and Safety management programmes. Work with key stakeholders to agree and implement corporate business goals and objectives
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement policies for TJX Spain to raise the profile and understanding of Health and Safety related risks.Provide guidance, support and advice to all divisions within the Region and In-Country to ensure legal compliance.Effectively communicate EU corporate policy, procedures & arrangements to key stakeholders & External bodies. Liaise with regulatory bodies, National Institute for Safety and Hygiene at Work, Labour and Social Security Inspectorate and Fire Services as required as appropriate.Identify, research and risk assess the impact of new Health and Safety legislation across the region, work with team business partners to devise European amendment proposals, provide reports and work with the regional managers to manage change to ensure corporate and legal compliance.Develop and maintain strong effective cross-functional business partnerships across the region and work with Stakeholders to raise compliance and facilitate solutions in High Risk areas.Support development, manage and Implement Health and Safety education programs for store, offices and distribution teams to ensure roles and responsibilities are fully understood and policies are adhered to.Build effective External and internal relationships and networks to ensure legal compliance and industrial / retail knowledgeManage & Investigate serious incidents and provide appropriate recommendations and support to influence risk reduction through policy change.Skills, Knowledge & Experience
