Abogado / a - Legal Compliance

We are seeking an experienced Lawyer with strong expertise in ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and Regulatory Compliance to join our in-house legal team.

The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal advice, ensure adherence to applicable laws and internal policies, and support the company’s sustainability and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Advise the company on corporate, contractual, and regulatory matters , ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.

Lead and monitor ESG compliance programs , including sustainability reporting, due diligence, and ethical business conduct.

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, NDAs, supplier agreements, and ESG-related clauses .

Support the implementation of corporate governance frameworks , risk management systems, and whistleblowing channels.

Ensure compliance with anti-bribery, data protection, human rights, and environmental regulations .

Collaborate with HR, Procurement, and Operations to integrate ESG and compliance best practices across all departments.

Liaise with regulators, auditors, and external counsel as needed.

Prepare internal training and awareness sessions on compliance and ESG standards.

Requirements

~ Law degree.

~5+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably in multinational or industrial environments.

~ Proven experience in ESG, sustainability, or compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 37301, CSRD, due diligence).

~ Strong knowledge of EU regulations on sustainability reporting and corporate governance.

~ Excellent command of English and Spanish (written and spoken).

~ Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.

~ High ethical standards and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in internal investigations or whistleblowing systems .

Background in environmental or labor law .

Master’s degree or certification in Compliance or ESG Management .
