We are seeking a
IT Service Leader,
an experienced professional who can combine strategic vision with hands-on execution to design the company’s IT foundation, oversee daily support, and ensure operational efficiency and security across all departments.
This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who enjoys building systems from the ground up and ensuring a secure, efficient digital environment in a fast-growing, high-technology company.
The role blends
strategic leadership
(defining infrastructure, security, and tools) with
hands-on delivery
(user support, vendor coordination, and policy implementation).
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
1. IT Infrastructure and Daily Operations
Oversee and maintain core IT infrastructure (networks, devices, cloud environments).
Provide
technical support
to users on hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Manage account access, onboarding / offboarding, and device provisioning.
Coordinate IT vendors and service providers to ensure uptime and cost efficiency.
2. Process Design and Systems Setup
Define and implement
IT policies and procedures
(data security, access, backup, incident management).
Create and document the
IT governance framework , scalable as the company grows.
Support implementation of core business systems such as
ERP, document management , and collaboration platforms.
Build a light
helpdesk or ticketing structure
to organize requests and prioritize response times.
3. Cybersecurity and Compliance
Develop and enforce
cybersecurity standards , including device security, passwords, and access controls.
Ensure compliance with
GDPR
and relevant
CE / ISO 13485
data integrity requirements.
Conduct periodic security checks and support Quality and Regulatory teams during audits.
4. Strategic and Advisory Responsibilities
Design a
12–18 month IT roadmap
aligned with the company’s industrialization and commercialization strategy.
Evaluate and recommend digital tools that improve productivity and collaboration.
Support budgeting and cost control for IT investments.
Prepare the ground for a
future full-time IT team
as the company scales.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
10+ years of experience
in IT management or senior systems administration.
Proven experience building IT systems and processes in
growing or scale-up environments
(ideally MedTech, Pharma, or Manufacturing).
Strong working knowledge of
Microsoft 365, cloud environments (Azure / Google), cybersecurity, and networking.
Experience supporting ERP or integrated business tools.
Fluent in
English and Spanish
(Catalan a plus).

WHAT WE OFFER
Part-time contract
(approx. 1–2 days per week, flexible schedule). May expand as Rob Surgical enters the commercial phase.
Hybrid model (on-site in Barcelona and remote work).
Salary according to experience and the metal industry collective agreement
