Automated Test Engineer - Contract - FREELANCE ONLY

Location : Spain (Hybrid)

Duration : 12-month contract

Edison Smart is hiring on behalf of our client for an Automated Test Engineer to join their team on a CONTRACT basis.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Perform functional testing across multiple software components.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI / CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to test strategy, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Hands-on experience in functional testing .
  • Experience in automated test case development .
  • Proficiency in Ruby, Python, or similar scripting languages .

    • Desirable Skills :

  • Knowledge of GitHub workflows.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) systems .
  • General DevOps experience .
