Vacancy No VN13897 - Job Title : People Director Iberia - Location : ES-Madrid. We are seeking a strategic and experienced People Director, who through leading a team of HR professionals across the region, will be responsible for delivery of Westcon-Comstor's global People Strategy, partnering with leaders across the region to develop, adapt and execute strategies aligned with the overall business plans for the region, provide day to day coaching and guidance to both leaders and the People Team in all aspects of HR, whilst also ensuring HR governance and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Operate as a business and people leader, who is commercially minded and builder of business strategy aligned people solutions
- Act as a strategic and operational advisor to local leadership on all things People
- Monitor and use People metrics & insights to make data led decisions
- Closely partner with HR COE's (Talent Acquisition, Reward, DEI, HR Services & Operations) to develop and facilitate strategic solutions and locally resonant from hiring through restructuring and career progression
- Lead planning and execution of change programs and coach leaders to manage change within their teams and organizations
- Manage talent planning processes, assess performance & potential, and identify successors for critical roles, promoting talent attraction, retention, and development
- Deliver the performance and compensation lifecycle, aligning with reward philosophy, and integrate diverse reward & recognition elements to increase engagement
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable local requirements
- Navigate strong relationships and collaboration with the local Work Council, and with local external partners
- Foster the Westcon Comstor culture, and manage employee relations to create a cohesive and positive workplace environment, embodying our Company values, and coaching managers to create the best possible colleague experience
Qualifications / Requirements
Professional qualification or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldProven progressive experience (8+ years) in HR, in a predominantly Business Partnering capacityStrong knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices (Iberia in particular)Proven functional and people leadership, interpersonal, stakeholder management, communication and influencing skillsStrategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities, as well as an experienced Operational HR professionalExperience with HRIS systems and data analytics, turning data into insightsExperience with compensation and benefits strategies, experience in managing compensation programs, annual pay and bonus reviews and equity planning processesData analytic capabilities to utilize diverse employee data sources and produce insight that inform strategic and workforce decisionsExcellent at building relationships with business leaders and partnersExperience in an international, multicultural matrixed, and ambiguous environmentsExperience in working in a Business Partner & CoE operating modelA can-do, collegiate approachStrong on accountability, integrity, partnership and ambitionEmployment type
