Associate gen ai consultant engineer (graduate role)

Role Description & Performance MetricsDescription : The Associate Consultant Engineer will join Konecta Digital’s Agentic AI and Gen AI practice, working under the guidance of Gen AI CTO. This role is designed as a 6-month development program, providing hands-on exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies, data-driven transformation projects, and real-world client engagements. Graduates will learn to design, prototype, and deliver AI-powered solutions, while building expertise in Responsible AI, data strategy, and agentic frameworks. By the end of the program, successful graduates will be fully equipped to transition into Consulting or Professional Services roles in Gen AI / Agentic AI.Metrics : Completion of structured 6-month program milestones.Contribution to at least 2 client-facing prototypes or internal accelerators.Positive feedback from mentors, peers, and client stakeholders.Demonstrated growth in technical, business, and consulting skills.Active participation in knowledge sharing, innovation forums, and squad collaboration.Responsibilities Learning & Development Participate in structured training covering Gen AI, Agentic frameworks, data fundamentals, cloud, and Responsible AI.Shadow senior consultants in client sessions and delivery squads.Complete technical and consulting learning checkpoints.Project Support & PrototypingSupport design and development of AI prototypes, POCs, and accelerators.Assist in preparing client deliverables (roadmaps, assessments, business cases).Collaborate with cross-functional squads (data, CX, cloud, advisory).Innovation & Knowledge BuildingResearch trends, tools, and academic insights in Agentic AI and emerging technologies.Contribute to internal playbooks, reusable assets, and IP libraries.Share findings through blogs, presentations, or community forums.Collaboration & GrowthEngage with mentors and squad leads for coaching.Participate in client workshops as an observer, then as contributor.Actively contribute to team culture, problem-solving sessions, and co-creation exercises.ProfileRecent graduate (Bachelor’s / Master’s) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Information Systems, or related fields with a First.Technical Foundations : Exposure to Python / SQL, AI / ML concepts, cloud basics.Mindset : Curious, ambitious, analytical, entrepreneurial, eager to learn.Collaboration : Good communication and teamwork; comfort working across cultures and geographies.Ambition : Passion for AI, data, and emerging technologies; motivated to build a career in Gen AI / Agentic AI.Languages : English (mandatory) with Spanish / French / Italian / Arabic desirable.
