Demand Planner
The Demand Planner leads the forecast management process for defined countries by contributing to commercial insights development and integrating the business plan into the S&OP process to build consensus forecasts. They are responsible for ensuring the robustness of content, consistency in execution, and driving alignment between financial and operational plans, while continuously improving the process according to global standards.
Support the creation of consensus demand forecasts for all Consumer Health products. Prepare and analyze consolidated unconstrained demand suggestions before demand review meetings, utilizing historical data, market insights, dashboards, and statistical forecasts. Use digital demand planning tools as an advanced user, maintaining the system and updating data monthly.
Prepare and facilitate demand review processes, fostering consensus among Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, Business Intelligence, Finance, and Product Supply. Challenge forecasts with analytics on market trends and developments. Run scenario planning to define supply risks with the supply team and demand risks based on market insights.
Ensure a rolling 12-month consensus demand forecast at SKU level and a long-term (36-60 months) aggregated forecast for strategic exercises like financial budgeting. Identify gaps and changes post-review and communicate with stakeholders during S&OP meetings, escalating issues as needed.
Monitor forecast quality by tracking KPIs (FCA, BIAS, Statistical Forecast usage, Write-offs, Inventory, CFR) and global dashboards. Guide stock allocation decisions during supply bottlenecks and develop mitigation actions with commercial teams to minimize expiry and write-off risks.
Actively support product launches and phase-outs by participating in launch meetings and providing forecasts, including pipe-fill and phase-out activities.
