Our digital team is based near Barcelona. We are a young, inspired company with an innovative digital branch. We recently built our new, modern offices, which feature an open and friendly environment.

Always tuned to the latest trends in marketing tools and the digital environment, our art team is searching for a Graphic Designer with aptitudes including graphic skills, creativity and a friendly attitude.

In 2011, we launched the Royal Queen Seeds website. Propelled by continuous demand, we opened a brand store in Amsterdam (2015), and one in the centre of Barcelona (2016).

The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will get to join a young, interdisciplinary digital team (Social Media, UX / UI, Designers, SEO, CRM, and Email Marketing colleagues) that is enthusiastic and passionate about what they do.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to expand your skills and grow in an energetic company competing in a flourishing new market.

A typical day would include

  • Sharing briefing sessions with the UX and Design Director and the rest of the team.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets.
  • Optimize layouts for user interfaces (UI) and landing pages, ensuring a visually appealing and intuitive design.
  • Create outstanding B2B marketing materials that align with our brand’s vision and goals.
  • Develop various digital assets, with a focus on promotional content and onsite visuals.
  • Design offline and print materials, from brochures to large-scale event displays.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is essential, you should be very comfortable using these tools.
  • Understanding of printing principles and processes.
  • Experience with Figma and layout construction, with a strong focus on UI principles (UX expertise is not required but appreciated).
  • A team player with a humble attitude and a strong willingness to collaborate.
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography and design skills
  • Portfolio of work, applicants without it will be automatically discarded.
  • Interest in UX and layout optimization techniques and experience creating UI interfaces.
  • Good organization skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in Spanish is highly valued
  • Note that it is not easy to get to the workplace without a private form of transportation, car or motorbike are needed
