Junior Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accounts Payable to join our accounting team. In this role, you will support the accounts payable team with essential tasks related to the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing financial transactions. You will be responsible for assisting with bank reconciliation, creating purchase orders (POs), registering bills from the OCR system, and reviewing balance sheet accounts, among other key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the accounts payable team with daily accounts payable tasks
• Assist with bank reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions
• Create and process purchase orders (POs) and track related expenses
• Register bills from the OCR system into the accounting system accurately
• Review balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Help maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable
• Support the accounts payable team in ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations
• Assist in other accounting-related tasks as required
