The IT SAP Associate Architect (EHS) will be responsible for identifying and analyzing business needs, gathering and documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives for improvements in ERP and other applications integrated with business processes / data and IT infrastructure. The role involves working on developments, extensions as well as designing our new ERP Life Science template and later rollouts in the area of SAP EHS (beneficially also Label Management knowledge) solutions to meet identified needs, minimizing negative impacts on operations, and maximizing the opportunity to realize benefits including handover to Support.
You will engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and offer best practice guidance while providing advanced support for technical issues. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will integrate SAP EHS with other modules, enhancing data exchange and interoperability. Furthermore your responsibilities include creating workflows, data structures, and reports for EHS processes like chemical management and incident reporting. You will lead end-to-end SAP EHS implementations and configurations, ensuring effective data migration and user adoption. Closing up, documenting system specifications (GXP environment) and staying updated on SAP EHS advancements will be essential for driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements and support the business needs to run operations smoothly in SAP EHS
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements for SAP EHS modules, ensuring alignment with business objectives with support operations.
- Act as Governance ensuring sustainability of ERP System
- Senior knowledge about Integrate SAP EHS modules with other logistics modules such as SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), SAP QM (Quality Management), and SAP WM (Warehouse Management) to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency especially in area of Label management
- Validate technical solutions through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.
- Coordinate develpments ensuring the Template Built, providing options in SAP Standard verifying E2E Solution building a sustainable ERP System
- Oversee the technical aspects of project solution delivery and ensure adherence to process governance
- Support the CLEAN CORE concept, verify and analyze solution and deliver the best solution after comparison and recommendation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Environmental Science, or a related field.Over 3-4 years of experience in SAP EHS architecture, configuration, and implementation with a record of successful project deployments.Hands-on experience with SAP EHS modules, and ideally certified in SAP EHS, SAP S / 4HANA or SAP Cloud Platform.Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to EHS.Strong understanding of SAP EHS functionality including compliance, incident management, and reporting.Proficient in SAP integration and relevant technologies such as ABAP and SQL.Excellent analytical, communication, project and stakeholder management skills.Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.Key Competencies
S / 4 Hana as well as ECC 6.0 ERP integration with products such as PP, SD, MM, QM, Distribution, PLMReading and good understanding of ABAP codeExperience with OSS, SAP Upgrades, and Project ImplementationsAbility to influence key stakeholders and joint teams to accomplish project and program goalsAbility to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and with different organizational entitiesExperience with Agile Project Management Methodology to be able to structure and scope a design and to manage a project through to completionExperience with large Full Life Cycle (FLC) project implementationsYour Main Skills
At least one to two End to End Implementation of EHS module for large scale organizationExperience with system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing and supportExperience with gap analysis and strategic roadmap / blueprint developmentExperience and knowledge of key integration points with EHS modulesExperienced with all aspects of customizing the Product Safety and Dangerous Goods Management including User Exits, Specification Type, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Global label management and Waste Management.Product Compliance EHSM 4.0 which includes Blueprinting, Configuration, Testing and TrainingDeep Knowledge of the data migration tools, import utilities import format, and data migration process specific to SAP EHS and EHSM product compliance, Incident management, and risk assessment.Experienced on SAP REACH Compliance portal solution.Familiar and skilled with Environmental Regulations ROHs, REACH, Environment Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Department of Transportation (DoT) rules and regulation.Experienced in Analyzing, reviewing, and developing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and various Levels using WindowWord Integration (WWI) and other reports (Injury / illness report, Accident / incident log report) relating to EH&S.Proficient in configuring Specification management, import and export process, MM Master DataGood knowledge of BAPI, User exists, Export rules, ABAP code, RFC connection etc.Expert in cross-functional integration of different modules; EHS, MM with WM, QM, PP Modules.Expertise in industries including manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, and public sectorExcellent interpersonal communication skills consisting of excellent writing and speaking skillsExcellent team player highly motivated to work in team to achieve defined missionHighly skilled to work in diverse environment at individual level as well as team.Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently including large and complex programs as well as operational projectsAbility to proactively identify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve issues that sometimes cross departmental boundariesAbility to be productive and self-motivated in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essentialPossess the ability to identify business change management implications associated with the desired project goalsTechnical Responsibilities
