Cloud Identity & Access Management Specialist (Contract)

Paritas is supporting a leading global consultancy as they undertake a major review of their Cloud Identity & Access Management (IAM) landscape for one of their flagship clients. We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on IAM Specialist who can assess, challenge, and improve technical configurations across a multi‑vendor environment (SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra ID).

This role is fully remote within Europe and is offered on a subcontract basis.

The Role

You will act as a Cloud IAM Subject Matter Expert, working closely with senior architects and engineering teams to diagnose long‑standing identity issues, strengthen governance, and drive effective remediation. This is a deeply technical, investigative role suited to someone who enjoys getting into the detail of configurations and resolving complex identity challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reviews, audits, and troubleshooting of cloud identity configurations
• Investigate, assess, and remediate misconfigurations and policy deviations (e.g., guest accounts outside standard)
• Work with architects to challenge assumptions, refine guardrails, and strengthen IAM design principles
• Provide expert guidance on IAM best practices, governance, lifecycle management and identity standards
• Produce clear documentation, recommendations, and configuration changes (including writing scripts / configs / macros where required)
• Support continuous improvement of identity and access processes across cloud and hybrid environments
