Marketing Communications Coordinator Job Description
Ommatidia LiDAR, a leader in innovative technology, is seeking a proactive Marketing & Communications Coordinator to contribute to our international growth and brand recognition.
This pivotal role will shape and execute our digital marketing strategy, manage internal and external communications, and coordinate our presence at prominent industry events. Your work will directly contribute to the visibility of our advanced technologies and strengthen our market position.
Job Responsibilities :
Manage and regularly update our website, optimizing for user experience and SEO.
Oversee content creation and scheduling across social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube) and digital channels.
Develop engaging digital content, including articles, newsletters, case studies, and technical posts.
Monitor and analyze digital metrics using tools like Google Analytics and report insights to management.
Coordinate internal communications (newsletters, company updates) fostering a positive brand culture.
Draft and distribute external communications, press releases, and announcements.
Maintain consistent branding across all company materials and platforms.
Plan, organize, and support Ommatidia LiDAR's participation in international trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and webinars.
Coordinate event logistics, liaise with event organizers, booth designers, and suppliers.
Prepare promotional materials and demonstrations aligned with the company strategy.
Follow up on event leads, assisting sales teams with CRM updates and outreach campaigns.
Create and update promotional materials (brochures, technical sheets, presentations, and videos).
Maintain an organized marketing asset library accessible to internal stakeholders.
Assist in generating targeted digital marketing campaigns and managing leads in coordination with the sales team.
Engage with relevant online communities, forums, and professional networks to enhance brand visibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related fields.
3-5 years' experience in digital marketing, communications, or events coordination.
Strong proficiency in digital tools : WordPress, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Mailchimp, CRM systems, and graphic design software (Adobe Suite, Canva).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish and other European languages a strong plus).
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for events and fairs.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Interest or prior experience in technology sectors such as scientific instrumentation, LiDAR or robotics will be advantageous.
