Innovative Project Director

Overview Lead Research and Development is a high-impact role that involves overseeing the development of innovative medical devices from concept to commercialization.

Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for developing technical plans for assigned projects using established methodologies, collaborating with department heads to prepare project budgets and define technical and human resources, ensuring the feasibility and quality of proposed solutions, coordinating production processes for developed products, researching and developing improvements in product technical characteristics, quality, and costs, defining purchasing specifications and approving suppliers.

Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have :

A degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably in mechanical, electromechanical, materials, or biomedical fields

Proficiency in English and Spanish

At least 5 years of experience in a similar position

Previous experience working in an R&D department and with CAD systems (Solidworks and Rhinoceros) and Ansys

Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a collaborative spirit
